Dashboard · Backlinks Overview · domain rank, spam score, referring domains
Backlinks overview with domain rank 21, spam score 13, 100 backlinks, 106 referring domains, DA comparison chart, referring domains comparison and a DA gap analysis table

Your backlink profile and every competitor's, with the DA gap quantified per rival rather than left to interpretation.

The gap

DA gap analysis, stated as a number

The DA Gap table puts your domain authority next to each competitor's and prints the difference. A gap of −52 against one rival and +200 against another tells you where to fight and where you have already won.

Underneath, the All Brands table gives the complete profile: DA, spam score, backlinks, referring domains, dofollow versus nofollow split and broken links, for you and every tracked competitor in one grid.

  • DA comparison chart across all tracked brands
  • Referring domains comparison — often a bigger differentiator than raw link count
  • Spam score tracked per domain so you can spot a rival's risky profile
  • Dofollow / nofollow ratio and broken link counts side by side

AI readiness

Competitive intelligence beyond links

The Competitive Intelligence dashboard scores you and each competitor across thirteen parameters — SEO score, GEO score, AEO score, content depth, entity coverage, E-E-A-T, schema usage, FAQ quality, topic authority, snippet optimization, trust indicators, answer quality and AI readiness.

The radar overlay makes the shape of each competitor's strategy visible: some win on content depth, others on entity coverage. Key optimization insights translate the chart into sentences you can act on.

  • AI Readiness Score with a plain-English rating
  • Keyword Gap Matrix — terms they rank for and you don't
  • Audited page breakdown and priority recommendations
  • Improvement potential quantified per parameter
  • PDF export for board and client decks

AI share of voice

Competitor battlecards for AI search

Links decide who ranks. Mentions decide who gets recommended. The battlecards view measures how often each brand is named across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode.

Total mentions, share of voice and a frequency score per brand, plus an engine-by-brand matrix showing which platforms favour which competitor.

  • Mention frequency chart, your brand against all rivals
  • Engine × brand matrix — visibility is rarely even across platforms
  • Share of voice as a percentage with a frequency score

Four backlink sub-reports

The backlink module splits into focused views rather than one overwhelming table.

Backlinks

Every referring URL with anchor text, dofollow status and the target page it points at.

Link gap

Domains linking to two or more competitors but not to you — the shortest path to closing a DA gap.

Toxic links

High spam-score referrers flagged for disavow before they drag your own profile down.

Technologies

The CMS, analytics, CDN and marketing stack each competitor runs — useful context for why their speed scores differ.

Sentiment and trends

Two views that explain the numbers behind competitive position.

Dashboard · Sentiment
Sentiment dashboard with positive, neutral and negative counts, per-brand distribution and a detail table

Positive, neutral and negative mentions per brand, with the source and context for each.

Dashboard · Trend analysis
Visibility and sentiment over time charts with run history

Visibility and sentiment plotted over every stored run, so competitive shifts are visible early.

FAQ

Questions about competitors & backlinks

Referring domains, anchor text, dofollow status and spam scoring are pulled from a backlink index and refreshed on a schedule. Domain rank and spam score are normalised to a 0–100 scale so cross-brand comparison is meaningful.
We flag referring domains with a high spam score, thin or scraped content patterns, and irrelevant topical context. The flag is a prompt to review, not an automatic disavow — you make the call with the evidence in front of you.
It combines the thirteen scorecard parameters — including entity coverage, schema usage, snippet optimization and answer quality — weighted toward the factors that most influence whether an AI will quote a page rather than merely index it.
Five competitor domains are tracked per brand for rankings and backlinks. The competitive intelligence and AI battlecard modules can be pointed at a different set if you want to benchmark a wider field.
